Material Selection & Compatibility
This floor waste system is available with two grate material options. The FW-100VL Main Body is constructed from heavy-duty Cast Iron. While the manufacturer's standard list focuses on 304-grade compatibility, the 316-grade Grate (FW-200S-316) shares identical dimensions and threading, making it fully compatible for installations requiring superior surface corrosion resistance.
For standard environments, the 304 Grade Stainless Steel version is suitable. For coastal venues, high-salinity areas, or facilities using harsh chemicals, we highly recommend selecting the 316 Grade Marine Grade Stainless Steel option to prevent tea-staining and pitting corrosion.
